Playlist vodcast #1

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Podcasts are so last month—video is where it’s at. A couple of weeks ago I attempted to prove the point by posting instructions for creating your own Vodcast. To demonstrate that this flavor of dog food is as delicious as I claim it can be, I’ve put together Playlist’s first vodcast.

To subscribe to our vodcast feed through the iTunes Music Store, launch iTunes 4.9, select Advanced > Subscribe to Podcast, and enter the following URL:

Note that this file is just under 40MB, so if you have a slow connection to the Internet, be prepared to wait awhile. Also, this is largely a proof-of-concept vodcast—one designed to demonstrate that this kind of thing can be done by mere mortals with a server to support it. Therefore I can’t promise when (or if) the next one will appear.
